On the 20th February 2023 many new documents appeared on the planning portal of Basingstoke and Deane in reference to application 21/03394/OUT. Seemingly the developer has made further changes to their application based on comments by consultants to date.

We have reviewed all the latest documents and responded accordingly with further consultation with our own planning expert.

Even with the revised plans in February 2023;

• This application is contrary to the NPPF and Local Plan and will not deliver sustainable development.
• This application risks undermining the local plan-making process and would be contrary to the East Woodhay Neighbourhood Plan.
• This application seeks to build within an area of significant flood risk identified in the BDBC Strategic Flood Risk Assessment, without demonstrating that the required Sequential Test has been undertaken and satisfied
